Delete your Plink Health account
You can request deletion of your Plink Health account and personal data at any time.
Option 1 — From the app
Open Plink Health → Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. Confirm with your password. Your account will be queued for deletion immediately.
Option 2 — By email
If you've lost access to the app, email admin@plinkhealth.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject line “Account Deletion Request.” We'll verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, including name, date of birth, ZIP, and profile photo
- Mood entries, daily reflections, and manual metric entries
- Connected wearable tokens, including Fitbit and Oura disconnected
- EHR connection metadata and clinical observations
- Community posts, comments, and reactions
- All linked health metrics
What we are legally required to retain
Plink Health complies with HIPAA. The following items are retained for the minimum legal retention period and then deleted:
- Audit logs of PHI access, as required by HIPAA §164.312(b), with 6-year retention
- Aggregated, de-identified analytics that are not traceable to any individual user
Timeline
- Account locked and data hidden: immediately
- Personal data hard-deleted: within 30 days
- HIPAA audit logs: deleted at the end of the 6-year retention period
